Universal Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup main ingredient tuna cubed chicken turkey, ham, 1 cup second ingredient thinly sliced celery mushrooms, pea chopped hard-cooked eggs 1 cup starchy ingredient thinly sliced potatoes, (1 to 2) cooked rice, cooked noodles, 1 1/2 cup binder cream sauce, sour cream, can of soup
GOODIES SUGGESTIONS
pimiento, olives, almonds, water chestnuts
TOPPING
potato chips, cheese, breadcrumbs Seasoning
Instructions:
Thoroughly mix your combination of above ingredients. If it seems too dry, add 1/2 cup milk or stock. Place in buttered casserole dish and bake at 350 for 30 - 45 minutes I have seen where people have been talking about a mix-n-match casserole. I found this recipe in the Tightwad Gazette2
