Turkey Lasagna Recipe




Ingredients:

1 lb italian turkey sausage
1 jar low-fat vegetable spaghetti sauce -25.5 ounce jar
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese, divided
1 cup nonfat cottage cheese
1 cup grated low-fat mozzarella cheese
nonstick cooking spray
8 no-boil lasagna noodles


Instructions:

1. In large nonstick skillet, over medium-high heat, crumble sausage and
sauté about 9 minutes, or until no longer pink. Drain. Stir in sauce.

2. In medium bowl, combine 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, the cottage cheese and
the mozzarella.

3. In a 13- by 9- by 2-inch baking pan sprayed with nonstick cooking spray,
spread 1 cup meat sauce. Place 4 noodles over sauce, breaking to fit if
necessary. Spread 1/2 of cheese mixture over noodles. Layer with 1/2 of
remaining sauce, and remaining noodles and cheese mixture. Top with
remaining sauce, covering all noodles. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese
over top.

4. Cover pan tightly with aluminum foil. Bake at 350°F 45 minutes, or until
noodles are tender. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before cutting.

Makes 8 servings. Preparation time: About 25 to 30 minutes. Baking time:
About 45 minutes.
