Tarragon Turkey Patty Recipe
Ingredients:
1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil 1/4 lb ground turkey, (97% fat-free) 2 tbsp chopped onion 2 tbsp dry bread crumbs 1 tsp dried parsley 1/4 tsp thyme 1/4 tsp tarragon fresh ground pepper, to taste 1 egg white 1 tbsp flour
Instructions:
Mix together all ingredients except the oil and flour in a small bowl. Form the turkey mixture into a 3/4-inch thick patty. Heat the oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Dredge the turkey patty in the flour and place into the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until the juices run clear when pricked with a fork. Do not overcook.
A new twist for a simple entree!
