Rustic Sausage Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
2 tsp Olive oil 10 oz Hot Italian turkey sausage 1/2 cup Chicken broth 2 tbsp Half and half 1 cup Chopped onion 1/2 tsp Dried oregano 1 cup Frozen peas 1 tbsp Grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
1. In large nonstick skillet, heat oil. Add onion; cook, stirring frequently, 3-4 minutes, until tender. Add sausage and oregano; cook, stirring to break up sausage, 10-12 minutes, until browned. 2. Stir in broth and peas; cover and cook 5 minutes, until peas are tender. Stir in half and half and cheese; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 3 minutes. Toss with hot cooked pasta.
