Rooby's Turkey Curry Casserole Recipe

Instructions:

6 TB cornstarch
3 3/4 c milk
15 oz can chicken broth
1 ts salt
2 ts garlic powder
1/2 ts black pepper
1 TB good quality curry powder
1 ts cayenne
2 ts sugar
2 TB butter or olive oil
2 c mushrooms -- sliced
1 md onion -- chopped
3/4 c Parmesan cheese -- shredded
4 TB dry sherry
12 oz ziti pasta
6 c cooked turkey -- diced
: nonstick cooking spray

Prepare ziti according to package directions; drain and rinse. In
large pot over medium meat, combine cornstarch, milk, broth, salt,
garlic powder, pepper, curry powder, cayenne and sugar. Bring mixture
to boil, stirring constantly. While sauce mixture is coming to boil,
saute onions and mushrooms in butter or olive oil. Remove thickened
sauce from heat and stir in Parmesan, turkey, mushrooms & onions,
sherry, and sugar. Spoon into large casserole, or two small ones,
that have been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake covered in
375 F degree oven 30 to 45 minutes, or until mixture bubbles. Remove
casserole from over, stir, replace lid, and allow to cool
15 minutes before serving.
