Pizza Hotdish Recipe




Ingredients:

1 1/2 lb coarse-ground turkey
1 medium onion, chopped
1 package no yolk wide noodles - (8 oz)
1/2 can Cheddar cheese soup
3 cup low-sodium tomato sauce
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp oregano
4 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 oz pepperoni, chopped
6 oz low-fat mozzarella cheese, shredded


Instructions:

Boil noodles until "al dente."
In the meantime, brown the turkey and onion. Drain. Mix the tomato sauce,
herbs, soup, and mushrooms together in a large bowl. Add the ground
turkey and onion. Stir in the noodles.
Pour into a baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
Uncover and top with chopped pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. Bake another
10 minutes uncovered or until cheese has melted and is bubbly.
This recipe yields 8 servings.
