Mr. Turkey Sausage & Vegetable Medley Recipe
Ingredients:
1 tbsp Cornstarch 1 tbsp Brown sugar 1 tbsp Light soy sauce 1/2 tsp Ground ginger 1 cup Vegetable or chicken broth 1 package Mr. Turkey Smoked Sausage, -cut into 1/4" slices (16oz) 1 tbsp Oil 4 cup Assorted cut-up fresh -vegetables 3 1/3 cup Hot cooked rice
Instructions:
In small bowl, combine cornstarch, brown sugar, soy sauce and ginger. Gradually blend in broth until mixture is smooth; set aside. Coat large, non-stick skillet with vegetable spray. Brown sausage; remove. Add oil and vegetables to skillet. Cook, stirring 3-5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Add sausage and broth mixture. Cook, stirring until sauce thickens. Serve over hot rice. Makes 5 servings.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes. Cooking Time: 15 minutes. Serving Size: 1 cup turkey vegetable mixture (approimately 221 calories); 2/3 cups rice (approximately 176 calories).
