Meat Loaf (Betty Crocker) Recipe




Ingredients:

1 1/2 lb Ground turkey
1 cup Milk
1 tsp Chopped Fresh -or-
1/4 tsp Dried Sage leaves (May be
-replaced With Thyme)
1/8 tsp Garlic powder -or-
1 Clove Garlic, finely chopped
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Dry mustard
1/4 tsp Pepper
3 each Slices of bread torn into
-Small pieces -or-
1/2 cup Dry Bread crumbs -or-
1/4 cup Quick cooking oats
1 each Egg
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/8 tsp Garlic powder
1 small Onion
1/2 cup Ketchup, chili sauce -or-
1/2 cup Barbecue sauce


Instructions:

Heat oven to 350 F. Mix all ingredients except ketchup. Spread
mixture in loaf pan, 8 1/2 X 4 1/2 X 2 1/2 or 9 X 5 X 3 inches, or
shape loaf in rectangular pan, 13 X 9 X 2 inches. Spoon ketchup over
top. Bake 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until done. Remove from pan. 6
servings; 375 calories per serving.

To Microwave: Prepare as directed - except shape into 6 small loaves.
Place in rectangular microwavable dish, 11 X 7 X 1 1/2 inches. Cover
with waxed paper and microwave on high 14 to 17 minutes, rotating
dish 1/2 turn after 7 minutes. Let stand on flat, heatproof surface
(not wire rack) 5 minutes.
