Low-Fat Turkey Lasagna Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb Ground turkey 2 tbsp Vegetable oil 1 Onion, chopped 2 Garlic cloves, minced 3 Tomatoes, peeled and Chopped 6 oz Tomato paste 2 tbsp Oregano, chopped 1 tbsp Fresh basil, chopped 1 cup Red wine, dry Black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in heavy skillet with lid; saute onion and garlic for 4-5 minutes until limp. Add turkey and cook, breaking up meat, until no pink color remains. 2. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour. Add a small amount of water if sauce appears to be getting too dry. 3. Let stand 15 minutes before serving over spaghetti.
