Italian Turkey Burgers Recipe







Ingredients:

1 1/4 lb Ground turkey, uncooked
1 pt Dried oregano
1/2 pt Dried basil
1/8 pt Garlic powder
1 pt Minced onion flakes
2 Tomato sauce (8 oz)
1 Mushroom pieces,drained (
1/4 pt Dried thyme
1/4 pt Garlic powder
1 pt Minced onion flakes
1 package Beef flavored broth mix


Instructions:

Preheat to 450 degrees. In a large bowl, combine turkey, oregano,
basil, garlic powder, and onion flakes. Mix well and shape into 8
patties. Place patties in a shallow baking pan that has been sprayed
with a nonstick cooking spray. Bake 15 minutes, until burgers are no
longer pink inside, turning once while cooking. While burgers are
cooking, prepare sauce: Combine all sauce ingredients in a small
saucepan. Heat over medium heat until mixture boils. Remove from
heat. Spoon mixture evenly over burgers. Return to oven for 5
minutes. Spoon sauce over burgers when serving.
