Healthy-For-You Turkey Chili Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cup chopped cooked turkey 1 garlic clove, minced 1 medium onion, chopped 1 sweet green pepper, chopped 1 onion, quartered 1 green pepper, sliced into strips 1 can red kidney beans - (17 oz) 1 can tomato paste - (6 oz) 1 can tomatoes - (28 oz) 1 bay leaf 1/2 tsp chili powder 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
Instructions:
Combine the turkey, garlic, onion, and green pepper in a nonstick skillet. Sauté until the vegetables are soft. Add the remaining ingredients and cover. Simmer over low heat for 30 to 60 minutes, or until the flavors are blended. This recipe yields 4 servings. Nutritional Information Per Serving: 340 Calories; 30 g Protein; 10 g Fat; 355 mg Sodium; 1211 mg Potassium; 60 mg Cholesterol.
