Curried Sauce For Turkey Or Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter or margarine 1 each clove garlic, chopped 1 each onion, chopped, to taste 1 each apple, peeled,cored&chopped 1 tsp curry powder 1 cup chicken broth 1/4 cup flour, unbleached 1 cup light cream, 1/2 pt. 1 salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions:
In a saucepan, melt the butter and saute the garlic, onion and apple for about 5 minutes. Stir in the curry powder and saute for 1 minute more. Stir in the flour and gradually add the chicken broth and cream. Season to taste with the salt and pepper. Serve with cooked sliced turkey or chicken.
Makes 2 cups of sauce.
